As we celebrate the International Day of the Girl in October, we’re reminded that every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and build a future of her own choosing.
Meet Promise, who has just started Class 4! She recently received school support and supplies that will help her prepare for the new school year. Promise is very thankful for this support and for the donors who are helping her continue her education.
And Promise has big dreams: she wants to become a doctor. With every school year, she is taking another step toward that goal.
This International Day of the Girl, we want to make a promise to Promise—and to girls like her: we will continue to stand with them as they pursue their education and dreams. Your generosity helps make that promise possible by providing the support and supplies students need to keep learning.
Thank you to our generous donors for investing in girls’ education and helping Promise move closer to her dream of becoming a doctor. Your support is helping her build a foundation for a brighter future.
Together, let’s keep our promise to girls: to encourage them, support their education, and help them reach their full potential.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Amy and the Develop Africa Team
