For millions of people worldwide, education is the key to economic opportunity and other life-giving resources. Educated girls grow into empowered women to care for themselves, their families, and their communities. An investment in a girl pays off in immeasurable ways. With your help, JAAGO takes on a holistic approach to providing knowledge to the children at our school to be aware of the latest developments in the world. But more girls need your support.
Girls in our country face various barriers to becoming educated: conflict, abuse, violence, human trafficking, lack of access to safe water and medical care, gender discrimination, child marriage, and others. But we can change the odds for girls by helping them acquire an education. 11 October is the first-ever International Day of the Girl. We invite you to commemorate this day in several different ways:
You can sponsor a girl in need. Monthly Sponsorship makes a long-term investment in a girl's life, her family, and her community, providing greater access to life-giving basics like nutritious food, clean water, medical care, and education — building a solid foundation for independence and hope.
Your sponsorship can educate a girl to secure her life. A girl’s education can modernise the mindset of our society. If she is educated, then she can decide for herself. She is free to stand up for herself, lead her life according to her choice and determine her future.
Girls' education is not least important for family planning. Lack of knowledge is making our population grow at a high rate. Education will make them aware of the cons of population growth in the long run.
If a mother is educated enough and knows the importance of education, she will never sit back from educating her child. She will go beyond to build her future on good terms. This will be helpful for both the daughter and son.
The education of girls has a global impact. It has a long-term effect both socially and economically. It establishes equality between men and women. Society might have an escape from gender discrimination. Prioritizing girls’ education is the first vital step to economic development in Bangladesh.
Thank you for your ongoing support towards empowering and educating girls in Bangladesh. Every dollar donated makes a difference! You are truly making a difference for girls with your generous support. Please share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
