In the heart of South Asia lies a country of vibrant cultures and warm smiles—Bangladesh. Yet, behind the colourful tapestry of its landscapes, there exists a stark reality that casts a shadow on the future of its daughters. In the face of poverty, early marriages, gender-based violence, and stifling social norms, female education in Bangladesh struggles to break free from the chains that bind it. 

For any nation, progress is measured not just by economic growth but also by the strides taken in education. For Bangladesh, progress in terms of female education still remains a major concern. Poverty often robs these girls of their right to education, compelling them to take on responsibilities far beyond their years. The burden of early marriages snuffs out the flicker of their educational dreams, condemning them to a life where their potential remains untapped. Inconsiderate societal norms continue to add additional obstacles in the way of female education in our country.
But against all odds, our girls want their dreams to flourish and aspirations to reach great heights. And in this journey of breaking free, JAAGO Foundation stands beside them. 

JAAGO has been providing education to thousands of female students. Through its efforts, the organisation has touched many lives and helped them change their reality. From quality education to skill development opportunities, the organisation aims to create a tomorrow where every girl has equal access to education and employment opportunities.

We believe female education is the cornerstone of a nation's progress. It is the bridge that spans generations, allowing wisdom and empowerment to flow freely. With each girl educated, we take a step towards a society where opportunities are not confined by gender and where the potential of every individual is given the chance to flourish.

JAAGO Foundation

We are thrilled to share that Tamanna, a 17-year-old meritorious student from JAAGO Foundation School, has been granted a fully funded scholarship at United World College, Dilijan, Armenia. 

The scholarship was facilitated by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, a two-year educational program primarily aimed at 16-to-19-year-olds in 140 countries worldwide. The program provides internationally accepted qualifications for entry into higher education and is recognised by many universities worldwide.

Coming from a marginalised community, Tamanna never thought a girl like her, who lives in the slums, would get such an opportunity. She is grateful to all who have helped her throughout her journey, and we are grateful to you for being a part of it. Thanks to your unconditional support, Tamanna has been empowered to chart a new course for her future and turn her dreams into reality.

Our mission is to give wings to more dreams like Tamanna’s, and we need your support to do so.
