Educate a Visually Challenged Child for One Year

The project “Educate a Visually Challenged Child for One Year” aims to provide holistic education and residential care to visually challenged children from underprivileged backgrounds. The initiative ensures equal access to education, computer training and overall well-being through an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Interventions:
- Education: Academic instruction using the Braille method with individualized support
- Braille Support: Braille books and tactile learning materials
- Computer Training: Accessible computer education and assistive technology
- Co-Curricular Activities: Celebration of Children’s Day and Teachers’ Day, including competitions, drama, and cultural programs

This project is dedicated to providing visually impaired children with holistic education and care, including free academic learning, Braille books, assistive tools, hostel accommodation, skill training, and nutritious meals. With personalized support from trained teachers and caretakers, each child receives the guidance needed to overcome learning barriers and build confidence. The program not only focuses on academics but also encourages participation in co-curricular activities, helping students develop essential life skills and independence.
