20 Years of Making the Impossible Possible

By Amalia Howard | Digital Marketing Manager

It started in 1998 with a dream to transform the lives of impoverished children and break the cycle of poverty. Now with two learning centers in India, one in South Africa, one in Mexico and four in the United States and a new school opening in Jamaica next year, our global results prove that the Christel House model WORKS.

Your support has transformed the lives of hundreds of Christel House Academy students as they build brighter futures than they previously thought possible. 78% of 2017 Christel House graduates earned an Academic Honors Diploma, compared to 19% in the neighboring district. Additionally, 68% of Christel House graduates are pursuing post-secondary education, a strong number compared to 28% of 2015 Indianapolis Public School grads.

Lexes is a great example of a successful Christel House graduate. Lexes was part of the first graduating class of Christel House Academy South. Now a senior at The University of Indianapolis, this outstanding student will graduate in May and then start work at Ernst & Young this summer. “The opportunities Christel House has offered me have been stepping stones in preparing me for college and for life after,” she shared. Thank you for making the impossible possible for students like Lexes!
