Students from Christel House Academy South (CHAS) shared their artistic talent for a good cause – supporting Christel House. Student artwork from India, Mexico, South Africa and the United States was on display for more than 70 Christel House supporters at a fundraiser hosted by Jennifer Simon, and co-hosted by Chris Blice and Jon Edwards, two local artists. The venue was stunning—under a tent on a beautiful summer evening—and the décor and food were exquisite. For four Academy students, it was a moment to shine. They greeted guests upon their arrival, introducing themselves and welcoming attendees. During the program each child used a microphone to address the entire group. “I was really excited for them,” says Carey Dahncke, Head of Christel House Schools. “They grew a lot from the experience.”
