More than 30 Christel House Academy and Christel House DORS graduates returned to celebrate the 20th anniversary at the Christel House Passport to Prosperity event in Indianapolis. Graduates greeted guests and shared their personal Christel House stories. Academy alum Alima Jones, now a freshman at The University of Indianapolis, enjoyed the opportunity to meet supporters. “I started in third grade and I graduated with an honors diploma,” Alima says. “I feel so blessed to have grown as a person through my experience at Christel House.” DORS alum Tamara Brasher is now working full-time as a certified nursing assistant and will be pursuing a nursing degree. “It was very nice to share my experience,” she said. “And it was great to see old friends.”
