Nearly 83% of the Christel House class of 2017 earned Honors diplomas at June graduation ceremonies according to Colin Butler, Head of Secondary at Christel House Academy South. 35 students make up this year’s class, the largest in the school’s history – 32 plan to pursue higher education, two students will go into vocational training and one graduate will start a career in the military.
This is the first year that Christel House Honors graduates can take advantage of the new partnership with the University of Indianapolis for full tuition scholarships. Nine graduates will be attending University of Indianapolis this fall. “Truly, we have a wonderful graduating class of 2017 that is going to go do a lot of great things in their post-secondary endeavors,” says Butler.
