Born to parents who are unable to care for him due to their disabilities, Yohana was brought to Amani for shelter and education at a young age. Despite his challenging circumstances, he has shown great potential and has made remarkable progress in his education. This year he is in his final year of high school. He loves math and science. So far at the top of his class, Yohana will sit for the college placement final exam at the end of 2023. If he scores high enough during these tests, he can win a free governmental scholarship to continue his studies at the university level!
It is crucial that we come together to help Yohana in his time of need. Through Amani, children receive tutoring with an English-as-a-second-language focus, as well as individual counseling. They have access to our on-site library of textbooks and study materials. With our support, Yohana can complete his education and go on to pursue his dreams in a country where few students get access to high education. You - our donor community - continue to make a significant impact in his life and ensure that he has the opportunity to achieve his full potential each time you give to this project. Thank you for supporting children like Yohana. Together we help him build a brighter future for himself and his community!
