You're Building a Secondary School for Our Students!

By Kelly Voss | Director of Development

Our Girls at the groundbreaking ceremony!
Our Girls at the groundbreaking ceremony!

YOU have done something amazing!

After so many years of supporting the girls of Nyaka YOU have helped to break ground on our very own Secondary and Vocational Training School.

As you know, girls in particular face many challenges on their road to attaining an education.  They are typically the last to be sent to school, stay home when they begin to menstruate, and face rape and early marriage on a soo frequent basis.  Your support has ensured they can attend school for free, have access to sanitary napkins, and stay in school rather than being lured into marriage or early preganancy.  Thank you!

Your unwavering support has ensured that all of our Nyaka and Kutamba Primary school students have graduated.  As a result the need for building a secondary school for our girls is now is greater than ever.

Ensuring that the students you've invested in go on to secondary school is an important part of our mission at The Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project. We know YOU care and that you want to provide students with the same basic support you would provide your very own children.

With your help, we are paving the way to a bright future for this generation despite our students' status as orphans or any of the other challenges they have faced in their young lifetimes; like extreme poverty, lack of access to clean drinking water, entering school malnourished and hungry, and the loss of one or both parents.

Attatched you will find a letter from our executive director, Jackson.

Thank YOU for all of the amazing work you've done to help these girls!
