Project Report | Feb 3, 2014
YOU are changing lives for girls like Justine!

By Daniele Reisbig | Development Coordinator

YOUR 2013 primary and secondary school graduates
YOUR 2013 primary and secondary school graduates

We join you in congratulating your Nyaka class of 2013!

78 students graduated from primary school and secondary school. Thanks to YOUR hard work and donations this was possible!

One of our graduates, Justine, has overcome very difficult and painful obstacles to achieve this accomplishment.

When Justine was in primary school, her dress caught on fire while she was lighting a lamp. Justine suffered through terrible burns on her face, arms, back, and chest.

Justine’s scars made her skin so tight, that she had trouble smiling and closing her eyelids. Through the support of people like YOU and the generous donation of The Shriner Hospital for Children in Boston, she was able to get the medical care she needed to keep her healthy and in school.

YOU have given Justine so much through your support and, because of YOU, Justine is standing proudly beside her peers as a strong woman ready to make an impact for her community.

There are more girls like Justine who are ready to change the world.

YOU are ensuring that they will.
