YOU are helping girls like Daphine!

By Daniele Reisbig | Development Coordinator

Daphine

Meet Daphine.

She is one of the 349 girls YOU are educating this year.

Daphine was only 3 years old when she lost her parents. She is fortunate to have a grandmother who is raising her and her siblings. She was six years old when she entered Nyaka school as a nursery student and this year she will be graduating from primary 7.

Because of YOU, she will be among the first students to attend the Nyaka Secondary and Vocational School next year. She won't have to go to a school far away from her family and her support system. She'll be able to stay at home and help her aging grandmother. She will be able to be a mentor to her younger siblings and encourage them to stay in school!

YOUR support means so much to Daphine. If it was not for YOUR support, girls like Daphine would be in a vulnerable position. Girls orphaned by HIV/AIDS are at greater risk of human trafficking, unplanned pregnancy, contracting HIV/AIDS, and early marriage.

YOU are helping Daphine defy the odds!

She wants to grow up to be a bank manager. And she wants to help other children like her who lost their parents.

Thanks to YOU, Daphine is getting the tools to do just what she wants.

YOU can help more girls like Daphine!

Give today starting at 9:00am EST (until 11:59pm EST or funds run out)

and your donation will be matched 30%!
