Brenda lost her parents to HIV/AIDS when she was in Primary 3. After their death, her grandmother couldn't afford to send her and her two sisters to school. At first Brenda was relieved. She said it felt too difficult to go back after her parents died.
A year later she learned about Nyaka Primary School. She begged her older sister to take her to the school so that she could apply. Brenda was admitted into primary 4 and has been a Nyaka student ever since.
She is now in her senior six preparing to graduate from secondary school. She will be applying to university to study accounting.
Her story is impossible without YOU.
