7 of YOUR girls graduated from high school last December. Now they are waiting for their acceptance letters from the universities they applied to.
AND now the results are coming in!
We are so excited to tell you that, Shirah, one of YOUR top students, just got her acceptance letter from Vancouver Island University! She will be attending VIU on a FULL scholarship!
Every statistic about Uganda's HIV/AIDS orphans says that Shirah and her classmates should never have succeeded.
Thanks to YOUR LOVE, Shirah and many other girls are overcoming all barriers.
Without the opportunities YOU have given them, these girls would never have had the chance to go to school at all, much less go to university.
The hope YOU give is contagious. When the young girls in Shirah's community see her attending a university, their dreams will be elevated too. They will know what is possible.

There are many more girls like Shirah--brilliant children who are being kept in poverty because they don't have the opportunity to go to school. Help us change their stories like YOU have done for so many other children!
