Caring for Clare

YOU have changed Clare’s life.

Clare lost both of her parents in 2008 when she was just four years old.  She began living with her grandparents but was commonly sick because the family couldn’t afford health care or proper nutrition.  Her future was grim until she was given the opportunity to go to school.

Today Clare is 12 years old and a Primary 4 student at Nyaka Primary School.  She still lives with her grandparents, brother and sister.  She enjoys math and learning the computer.  One day she hopes to visit the U.S. and be a teacher.  Claire said, “My life was not complete until I joined Nyaka.  Life became smooth since I get medication and other assistance.  I use to fall sick every now and then but now I spend the whole school term without any health problems.  Gone are the days when I lived a sorrowful life.  I thank Nyaka, and all those who give support to Nyaka, for being kind”.  Clare is a very happy and healthy girl now.  She has been given a chance to hope and dream, which can be rare for an orphaned girl in Uganda.

Help other girls like Clare go to school by donating today!  Thank you!
