Educate Her Empower Her

Dear Global Givers,

We at iPartner India express our sincere gratitude to you for supporting our campaign Educate Her Empower Her to give girls an opportunity to continue with their education. Your generous support is helping fund the expenses of the education for 13 girls.

As per the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER), there is a decline in the percentage of girls who are not in school across the country. However, there are still many girls who are on the verge of dropping out of school due to extreme poverty and other social issues. Thanks to your support, 13 girls are fortunate to be able to continue with their education and pursue their dreams.

Update on the Scholarship Programme

Through your generous support, all 13 girls are able to continue with their education. The girls are faring well in their studies and eagerly waiting to appear in the final exams in April 2023. In order to help the girls cope with their studies, extra classes are provided to clear their doubts. In addition, group studies are also organised daily post-dinner.

Maya* is now even more determined to pursue a career in civil service. Maya will be graduating from college this year and plans to enroll herself in a coaching centre. She wants to commit a year to concentrate on preparing for the civil service exams to help her achieve her goal.

Nita* is also looking forward to joining the police force once she completes her education. She goes for a run every morning and follows a strict diet to keep herself fit. 
 
Kiran* recently discovered that she can run longer distances and participated in a 5 kilometers marathon organised by her college. This has helped her to gain confidence and participating in the marathon is a big achievement for her.

Suman* was recently selected to participate in a parade to give an honorary salute to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. “The scholarship support will allow me to continue to chase my dreams. All the girls regularly attend workshops and seminars held on campus. Recently the girls participated in a workshop on the ‘Art of Thinking Clearly’.

With continued supervision from the faculty, warden, Vice Principal, Principal and peer support, the girls have shown tremendous improvement in their overall performance, both academically as well as in various extra-curricular activities. Our team on the ground also ensures that follow-ups are held routinely with the wardens of each hostel on girls’ health and well-being. The fees of all girls were paid on time through scholarship support. The scholarship support is used to fund the expenses incurred on the school’s fees and to buy stationery, clothes, internet service and additional snacks.

Thank you Global Givers for believing in our work all these years. Without the generous support of a caring community, we would not have been able to support the education of the 13 girls and these girls would not have been able to dream of a better future.
