Dear GlobalGiving family!
We hope you are in the best of health and happiness. We would like to take this opportunity to share an update on the lives you have transformed through your kindness and compassion. With your generous support, vulnerable girls are now able to pursue their education with dignity and pride. Families who were once hesitant to send their daughters to school are now celebrating their daughters’ academic achievements. Till date, through your generosity, iPartner India has provided more than 1,200 scholarships to underprivileged girls studying in both boarding and non-boarding schools. Two of our scholars have shared their journeys in their own words, expressing sincere gratitude for your support. We invite you to read their inspiring journeys below.
Stories of New Scholars:
Sunakshi’s Story
Hello, GlobalGiving family. I am Sunakshi (name changed) and I come from a rural village in Rajasthan and am currently pursuing B.A. (Third Year) in Arts at an institute in Rajasthan. When I am not studying, you will often find me on the badminton court, enjoying a few moments of play between my classes and responsibilities.
But my journey to college has not been easy.
I grew up in a family facing severe financial hardship, where both my mother and maternal aunt are engaged in sex work. In circumstances where many girls are forced to abandon education early, I chose to hold onto a different dream, to become a teacher and contribute positively to society.
With the support of iPartner India and generous donors like you, I have been able to continue my education and move one step closer to that dream.
I am thankful to the donors and iPartner India. Because of your support, I am able to continue my studies and dream of becoming someone who can give back to society.
Amrita’s Story
Namaste and hello everyone. My name is Amrita (name changed) and I come from a village in Rajasthan studying in the final year of M.A. in Clinical Science at an institute in Rajasthan. I am passionate about learning and spend my free time reading motivational books, especially titles like The Power of the Subconscious Mind.
My dream is clear: to become a clinical psychologist and build a stable, independent future.
Like many girls from my community, I grew up in difficult circumstances where financial struggles were constant. Both my mother and maternal aunt are engaged in sex work, and pursuing higher education once seemed almost impossible.
However, with the support of compassionate donors like you and iPartner India, I have been able to stay in college and continue pursuing my ambitions.
Because of the kindness of donors and iPartner India, not only I, but many girls from my community are able to continue our education and dream of becoming something in life.
Over the past six years, iPartner India’s work in marginalised communities has shown that education, especially through scholarships, can be life changing for girls facing vulnerability and risk. When girls are able to stay in school, they gain the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to move away from cycles of exploitation and build independent futures.
We are deeply grateful for caring supporters like you who believe in their strength and potential. Thank you for standing with these girls and helping create pathways to safety, dignity, and opportunity. We look forward to continuing this meaningful journey together.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Team iPartner India
