Dear Project Supporters,
It is a long process to collect school supplies from donors around the world, then ship them to Sierra Leone, organize book bags full of school supplies once they arrive in Sierra Leone, and then finally distribute them to students, but the distribution has begun.
On Thursday, more than 80 backpacks full of school supplies were distributed to students from nursery school all the way to senior secondary school students in Freetown. This entire process is only possible because of generous supporters like you who help make it happen.
Each book bag contained - notebooks, erasers, pens & pencils, crayons, a ruler, an umbrella, and a pencil sharpener. The students were all so thankful for the school supplies they received, like Mariama, who is in her second year of senior secondary school, and Samuel who will be starting class 5.
We are so thankful to you for your support! Our recurring donors are truly making a lasting difference. If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a recurring donation yet, we warmly welcome your ongoing support for the future leaders of Sierra Leone.
Please share this project with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
Warm regards,
Amy and the Develop Africa team
