Dear Project Supporters,

Your support is greatly appreciated as it continues to make an impact on the future leaders in Sierra Leone. Thanks to your generous support a new hands-free washing station was recently set up at Dantrimark Academy at Waterloo.

The students at Dantrimark Academy at Waterloo were encouraged to use the hands-free washing stations not only during this period of Covid-19 but on an ongoing basis as it helps promote much-needed hygiene in their schools and reduce the spread of germs.

The design of the mobile hand's fee washing is essential to limit cross-contamination between hand washers. The main components of the system entail: a water tank with a holding capacity of 200 Liters and a sink that holds the water and direct it into another third component which is the wastewater holding bucket and on the right side is a sub dispensable unit and on the left, a tap and are both operated by foot.

The students at Dantrimark Academy at Waterloo were very thankful for the handwashing station, saying it was a dream come true that they won’t have to fetch water on a daily basis.

These students and families are truly grateful for your support that is providing them with the resources they need to become the Future Leaders of Sierra Leone. If you are not yet a monthly donor, we warmly invite you to continue helping the future leaders in Sierra Leone by signing up for a recurring donation.

Please share this project with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.

Warm regards,

Amy and the Develop Africa team
