Gol de Letra Foundation annually develops activities focused on education, sports, fun, culture, and employability for more than 6.500 children, teenagers, and their families that are in vulnerable situations located in the suburb of Sao Paulo (in Vila Albertina neighborhood) and Rio de Janeiro (in Caju neighborhood). This project aims to provide financial sustainability for the Gol de Letra Foundation to continue to develop social capabilities for those who live in vulnerable places.
Keep supporting children and teenagers who live in vulnerable communities it's a big challenge. Many of those people don't have access to good education and culture and are not able to practice sports. The Gol de Letra Foundation presence in these areas is essential to break the historical conditions of social and economic inequalities that frequently limit the integral development of these people. Without safe spaces and learning opportunities, many kids and teenagers get exposed to problems.
Using the comprehensive education methodology, the Gol de Letra Foundation develops projects and programs that create safe environments, stimulating the students to learn. Using educational tools, sports, and culture, we offer kids and teenagers a space to study and develop their social and personal skills. The main objective is to give them opportunities so they can be their life protagonists, and strengthen their bonds with their families and with the community, amplifying their opportunities.
For over 25 years, the Gol de Letra Foundation has contributed to transforming the lives of thousands of children and teenagers, giving them better conditions to learn, access to a good education, and more opportunities.
