Over the past three months, the Gol de Letra Foundation carried out several initiatives to promote childhood, youth, and culture at its locations in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
In the Caju neighborhood (where the Foundation’s headquarters in Rio de Janeiro are located), the Gol d’Caju Carnival Block was held, bringing joy and community spirit to the streets. We also organized the Festival das Creches (Daycare Festival), which brought together children and educators from local schools. Still in this first quarter, the Jogos de Rua (Street Games) took place, with traditional games focused on community bonding and the revival of outdoor activities.
Both of the Foundation’s locations also hosted the Brazil–France Exchange Program, which included the participation of young people and our students in cultural and educational activities.
In São Paulo, two important milestones took place: the inauguration of the Casa da Juventude (Youth House), a space for training and socializing for young people, and the hosting of the Rua de Lazer (Street Leisure) event, which transformed the urban space into an area for recreation and community integration.
