It is that time of year where we decide which interns will be the best fit for the clinic. Medical students, Nursing students, ARNP's, PA's and all mannner of medical professions. Our dorm is 95% ready for students and has had a few live in people already.
We were proud to have Bill & Eddie there to install water filters making our water safe for the interns and residents. We are excited to finally have it filled to capacity.
It is here that we hope students will learn 3rd world medicine and use those skills to be better healthcare providers in the future. We also hope they will be willing to use their spare time to help the underpriveleged. Having a heart for the poor is developed when facing something we have never seen before in the United States.
It is our goal to provide these experiences for those who are willing to step outside their comfort zone.
Because of supporters like you, there is no telling how many people will be helped in the future.
Thanks!
