This year we had the opportunity to attend a international missions conference. People from all walks of life were there helping the world at large with every problem imaginable. Hunger, disease, wildlife, enviormental issues, cleaning up bombs left over from wars overseas where the children play. It was truly remarkable.
Every ministry I encountered was willing to help, advise, and give whatever wisdom and resourses they had accumumlated. One ministry offered us as much educational material for the clinic as we desired. Another offered wheelchairs and the booth next to them offered to fly them to us.
The educational materials will help us with getting the patients up to speed with helping themselves. The videos will be played as they wait to reinforce the knowledge.
The students that come to help at the clinic will have resourses. We also plan to purchase media for the patients to take home to reinforce the teaching from the students and staff. This cycle of knowledge will continue throughout future generations. That is an important change.
Thank you, all of you who continue to serve others.
Serving with you,
