Allison is a young lady from Ohio that has come here as a pre-medical student to learn about healthcare in Honduras. She was so prepared, she already had set up a research project at the largest govenmental hospital in Central and South America, the Hospital Escuela Universitario.
Already we have seen her compassion and determination to care for the underpriveledged. Our internships involve a lot of long days and hard work. We hope this will prepare young people from the United States for tropical medicine and help them see a future in the missions field.
It has been awesome to see her grow and learn over the past weeks. We want to thank you for providing funds to help this project.
