Allison has completed her internship with compassion and leadership. She won the hearts of all who encountered her demeanor. The character traits serve her well for her future as a physician and healer.
During her stay she did research for the largest governmental hospital in Honduras. The Hospital Escuela Universitario in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This research will help provide the hospital with valuable information to improve care here in Honduras where teaching takes place for all the physicians.
We also were able to set up the new laboratory to provide a better diagnosis for our patients. The clinic continues to be free to the poor.
The United States should be proud of the students that are learning to care about all people equally. We hope programs like these will provide the youth of America with a complete understanding of caring for people from all walks of life.
Thank you for your donations that assist with this program.
In gratitude,
