Last year was a significant milestone for St. Vincent Nursery School as 24 children graduated and moved on to Grade One. The graduating class included 16 boys and 8 girls, all of whom completed their early childhood education and were ready for the next stage of learning. This accomplishment reflects our commitment to providing all-around early childhood development that supports both learning and wellbeing.
Majority if not all of these children come from vulnerable backgrounds where access to reliable education and proper nutrition is limited. When they first joined the school, some found it hard to concentrate, read, and interact with others. Through organized classroom instruction, close teacher support, and regular nutritious meals provided at school, the children were able to improve their focus, attendance, and overall development in a safe and caring environment.
The successful move to Grade One shows the positive impact of quality education and nutrition. Teachers and parents report that the children are more confident, energetic, and better able to take part in class activities. Better health and steady school attendance have been essential in preparing the children academically, socially, and physically for primary school.
This progress would not have been possible without the generous support of our donors. Your contributions allowed us to provide both education and daily nutrition, laying a strong foundation for these 24 children. As we look ahead, your ongoing partnership will help us reach more children, ensuring they get the nourishment and education they need to thrive.
