Dear Donor,
This period has been filled with many inspiring activities!
Currently, we have 15 adolescents participating in this project.
In September 2024, we held the 3rd Annual Career Fair for Grupo Nós at the Elza Soares Cultural Center, a venue named in honor of the legendary Brazilian singer and activist. This event brought together adolescents from the project for a full day of activities. They had the opportunity to engage with over 40 volunteer professionals from diverse fields, who shared insights from their careers, while also exploring booths from partner companies and institutions offering job opportunities and resources.
As part of the event, the adolescents participated in a discussion with two inspiring guests: Fernando Couto, a musician and cultural advocate representing the Coletivo Chão de Plantas, an initiative promoting community-based cultural projects, and Larissa Cordeiro, a social scientist, cultural manager, and founder of Slam do Pico, a platform that fosters self-expression and community engagement through poetry slams. They shared their journeys, challenges, and perspectives on education, work, and personal growth.

This period also marked the launch of a new activity focused on project development. During this initiative, the adolescents reflected on the Rights Guarantee System and Public Policies that directly impact their lives, fostering discussions about their rights and responsibilities as young citizens.
Building on these reflections, the adolescents were encouraged to identify challenges from their lived experiences and propose collaborative solutions. The projects they developed were showcased during an event on November 23, 2024, attended by the adolescents, their families, and the Grupo Nós technical team.
The event’s program included group presentations on the theme of "Public Policies for Adolescents in Care." The adolescents showcased creative projects such as the "Podcast Fala Sobre Nós" (a podcast sharing their voices and perspectives), a video interview discussing child and adolescent care, a musical composition, a video presentation about their residential care facility (SAICA), and a moderated debate with the audience. The energy and creativity displayed were truly inspiring!
To wrap up the year, we organized a special outing to Selva SP Adventure Park, located in the Parelheiros and Marsilac districts of São Paulo. This day of fun and learning allowed the adolescents to connect with nature, explore the history and culture of the region, and experience adventure tourism activities such as rafting, tubing, and tree climbing. The experience not only provided joy and discovery but also expanded their cultural and social horizons.
Your support makes all of this possible. By investing in projects like this, you are helping to create opportunities that empower adolescents to envision brighter futures and develop the skills they need to thrive. Together, we are building pathways for transformation, not just for these adolescents, but for the communities around them. Thank you for believing in this mission and standing with us as we continue this important work.
Kind wishes,
