Between March and April 2024, Womanity was able to launch three new online classes in coding and web development. They are attended by approximately 70 female students who were enrolled in STEM universities before the Taliban bans.
We are also in the process to finalise the curricula for two new additional online courses that will launch in May and be completed between July and August.
In parallel, as requested by the Taliban regime, we have been working to a national NGO to collaborate on the implementation of the eight community based education (CBE) classes in Bagrami. Currently, we are waiting for the Memorandum with the Ministry of Education to be finalized. In 2024, we plan to expand our CBE projects to 20 classes, and therefore, we are currently selecting the additional 12 classes. Our criteria is that at least 70% of student sin CBE classes are girls.
