Throughout the year 2025, our programme remained aligned with our 2023–2027 strategy and its two central pillars: online vocational training in English, coding, and web development for young women, and support for primary education through Community Based Education (CBE) classes and public schools in four districts of Kabul province.
Between January and December 2025, 11 online training modules were delivered covering English (from intermediate to advanced), web design, java, python, database and SQL. Overall, 237 participants enrolled and 184 completed the training with a drop-out rate of 22%.
In parallel, in primary education we supported 3,223 children to complete their academic year (78% girls) of whom:
Our work is possible because every year, we hire, monitor and upskill 96 teachers (70 in public schools and 26 in the CBE classes).
Finally, we conducted a small-scale assessment of the tech sector in Afghanistan with a focus on Kabul.
