"The topics that I learned in this course will help me to understand advanced topics easily. I can apply this knowledge in my personal coding projects and future job opportunities in the tech field.

I will miss the good moments in class, the stories we shared, and your [trainer] voice. Looking back at every moment in class, I feel that they were filled with meaningful memories and experiences that I deeply appreciate. Thank you once again for your guidance and support." Student of the Python course, in an email to the trainer.

Throughout the year 2025, our programme remained aligned with our 2023–2027 strategy and its two central pillars: online vocational training in English, coding, and web development for young women, and support for primary education through Community Based Education (CBE) classes and public schools in four districts of Kabul province.

Between January and December 2025, 11 online training modules were delivered covering English (from intermediate to advanced), web design, java, python, database and SQL. Overall, 237 participants enrolled and 184 completed the training with a drop-out rate of 22%.

In parallel, in primary education we supported 3,223 children to complete their academic year (78% girls) of whom:

  • 373 children completed grade 4 in the 13 CBE classes we support while 39 dropped school during the year (representing 10% of the initial group) and
  • 2,850 children did the same in our classes in the 15 public primary schools we support. 630 dropped school during the year (representing 18% of initial enrolment).

Our work is possible because every year, we hire, monitor and upskill 96 teachers (70 in public schools and 26 in the CBE classes).

Finally, we conducted a small-scale assessment of the tech sector in Afghanistan with a focus on Kabul.
