This project will provide educational materials (uniform, teaching materials, bags, books, real drawing pad, notebooks, pens, pencils, office supplies, etc.) to more than 200 underprivileged girls in rural areas of Benin so that they can improve their level of education. This project will help deprived and orphaned children to have better educational opportunities and contribute to the development of society.
Education is a sector that has attracted the attention of world leaders. In Benin, for decades, given the social variability and difficulties of communities, especially in rural areas; the state of girls' schooling is still not very bright especially that of poor and orphaned children. Their parents are unable to pay for their school supplies, which means that intelligent and ambitious students are very far from school education. According to UNICEF, 1 in 3 girls are married before the age of18
To face this situation we are organizing a fundraiser. These funds are intended for the purchase of school supplies. Through the distribution of school kits to 200 destitute and orphaned students will help them to have equal opportunities in education.
