Quarterly Report March - 2025

On 31-01-2025, Annual Picnic was organized by BERDO for Blind Children of BERDO Blind School. The event was held at the own land of SarailBazar of Manikgonj district. In the event, BERDO Executive Director Md. Saidul Huq, Deputy Director Ms. Maksuda Aktar and Md. Shahaid Ullah, Treasurer Ms. Hosna Ara Begum were attended. Among notable person, Md. Ershad Ali, Mr. Abdul Mannan, Mr. Paban Richard Ritcheel, Ms. Naiyama Sultana, other prominent guests were also participated at the event, Besides, all staff of BERDO head office and Gazipur branch office and student of BERDO Blind school were participated. There were inclusive 85 participants.

The Annual Picnic was started at 9.15 A.M. Two buses took all participants from BERDO Head office. Breakfast was served in the buses. Student were found more excited and unjoyful. They made huge fanfare and enjoyment during their journey to the destination.

The busses reached the destination at 11.00 A.M. All participants roamed for some time.

After that student of Blind school were divided into three groups and participated in the run race. Prizes were distributed among winner of first, second and third position. One guest Ms. Nayma Sultana gave winners three coupon each as gift. She gave all other student two coupons each. A Pillow event was also organized.

After that, Lunch was served among participants. The foods were tasty and delicious. After that the 2nd event was started. Prizes distribution was done to winners of three groups and Pillow event. After that, a lottery was organized. Almost all student won the lottery prizes. The found more excited winning prizes in the lottery.

At last, the function was closed and the busses started moving towards BERDO office. During this traveling, students performed by singing and dancing. The buses reached office at 7 P.M.
