Annual Picnic -2026
On Friday, 23 January 2026, the annual picnic of Blind Education and Rehabilitation Development Organization (BERDO) was held at the CCDB Climate Centre in Uttar Palaid, Telehati, Sreepur, Gazipur. A total of 106 people participated in the picnic, including BERDO's Executive Director Mr. Md. Saidul Huq, Deputy Director Maksuda Akter, Mr. Md. Shahid Ullah, Chairperson of BERDO Mr. Md. Mosharraf Hossain Majumdar, Vice-President Mr. Md. Jahangir Alam, Treasurer Ms. Hosne Ara Begum, Mr. Abdul Mannan, Mr. Md. Mazharul Haque, Ms. Naima Sultana, Ms. Razia Sultana, guests, all officers and staff of BERDO head office and Gazipur branch, and all students of BERDO Residential School.
At 9:00 AM, two buses and one microbus left BERDO's head office for the picnic. They ate breakfast and enjoyed themselves in the vehicles while traveling, and the vehicles reached the destination at 12:00 PM. First, a guide from the venue gave an idea about the CCDB Climate Centre and showed the entire place by dividing everyone into two teams.
After lunch, the students participated in various group games, and separate pillow fights were arranged for men and women, followed by prize distribution. The most attractive part of the picnic was the lottery sale and raffle draw. The end of the picnic was announced with joyful moments for students, teachers, and all present after the raffle draw session.
