1^st Successful participation of BERDO blind School student at Para- games- 2026

Inspired by the theme, win not by capacity but by will force’ student of BERDO residential Blind School has displayed magnificent performance at 1^st Bangladesh Para games -2026. The blind school student have proved their outstanding potentials of skill, self- confidence and courage among many other participants across the country.

In this sport event, twelve student of BERDO School were participated in swimming competition and 21 participated in track competition. They have been able to display brilliant performance in such a stiff competition The best performer was Md. Sagar Islam, a student of BERDO blind school, who bought name and fame for this school by achieving 2^nd Place in para -Olympic game by securing 2^nd place ( Bronze Medal).

His achievement was not only just a win, but it was manifestation of self- determination, perseverance and overcoming of limitations of a Person with disabilities. At every state of the event, student participants were found spontaneous, charming and full of enjoying. They have gotten the opportunity of exhibiting their potentials. On the other hand, a deep spirit of mutual friendship, corporation and group cohesion were developed as result of this event.

In 2025, one student of BERDO blind school participated at para – athletic completion held in Dubai and had shown extraordinary performance by wining Bronze medal (2^nd place).
