Quarterly Report for August to October

Dear Supporters,

World white cane safety day 2017 has been observed by the Ministry of Social Welfare of Bangladesh government on 15 October, 2017 with a slogan of “pledged of the day, feeling secure with using the white cane”. BERDO was actively participated for celebrating the day. Officials and Students with visually impaired of BREDO participated in the rally and others events such as discussions, white cane distribution and food distribution among participants. Honorable secretary and other officials of Ministry of Social Welfare, Department of Social Services (DSS) and Jatyo Protibondhi Unnayan Foundation (JPUF), representative from NGOs were present in this event.

Honorable Ln.Md. Aminul Islam liton, District Governor of District-315B3, Lions Clubs International, Bangladesh has donated Taka-10000.00 (ten thousand) to Blind Education and Rehabilitation Organization (BERDO) on the occasion of October Service Week-2017 for betterment of the students with visually impaired. Md. Saidul Huq, Executive Director of BERDO received the said amount of cheque from him on 14^th October. 2017.
