Greetings
R.O.C.K.'s Liberia Correspondent, Abigail, reports that the school in Teahplay has not yet reopened for the 2023-2024 school year due to concerns related to the upcoming general elections in Liberia scheduled for October 10, 2023. According to Abigail, both the parents and school administrators have "...decided to wait" for the outcome of the elections.
Although the school in the Village of Teahplay has not yet opened, colleges and some other schools have. R.O.C.K's Learning Dynamic project continues to give financial support to youths from Teahplay and will give further updates when the school reopens.
Abigail is diligently monitoring the situation. Please stay tune for more updates.
