We trust that you enjoyed the holidays with your loved ones.
Abigail, continues to be a trustworthy and capable correspondent for R.O.C.K. She confirmed that following the recent general elections in Liberia, the Teahplay school resumed for the 2023-2024! We are happy that the elections were mostly peaceful. The newly elected president has been installed and there continues to be peace in Liberia.
Abigail purchased books for the students of the Teahplay school. We are excited to share the good news that the Teahplay School now has a new school building. R.O.C.K. is helping to fundraising to buy benches for the classrooms. This building has a library and a storeroom to safely keep the equipment.
R.O.C.K.’s vice president and I expect to visit Liberia this year to inspect the school and will give a first-hand report when we return.
