Only a few months have passed since we added "A Silent Voice" among the Aleimar Global Giving projects, but the results are really excellent: $ 1181 collected!
Thanks to the precious donations, we have contributed to pay the heating costs to allow the children of the Bethlehem Effort Center to take lessons in heated and comfortable classrooms. In contexts such as the Palestinian, often the normality, like that of spending a quiet and warm school day, is not taken for granted!
The situation in the country is really difficult and tense, so it is really important for us to ensure that children with hearing disabilities have a suitable environment in which to grow and learn. For these children the tranquility is fundamental in order to concentrate on communicating despite the physical handicap.
I therefore believe that the best way to thank you is to show you images of everyday life, of children happy and engaged in the study, or in the game in the case of the little ones, or in physical activities in the case of after-school. A warm thanks also from Sr. Piera, the project referent, who periodically sends us updates on the growth and progress of the children.
