The main goal in Effeta is audiophonetic rehabilitation because it aims to train and prepare students to face their future making them aware that deafness is not an obstacle to a personal affirmation in society.
The exercise of listening and oral communication can guarantee the harmonious development of the student with the overcoming of his handicap.
Since the students in Effeta can not hear, they need a visual support that allows them to progress using the visual games: this is why Sister Lara is asking us to help her to buy an LCD software, a Smart Board and some educational games to increase the efficiency of the multimedia classroom.
We thank all of you for your support. Thanks to your help we can guarantee the basic right to grow and learn to many deaf children in Bethlehem!
