The Effeta Center is doing great! Right now it is supporting around 20 children with hearing disabilities.
This is done in part via increasing the awareness of the issues amongst the families, in part through teaching.
The workers in the Center are doing an amazing job: they teach traditional subjects, with special techniques of communication; they prepare specialzed educational and school paths; they teach the kids how to communicate with each other. Everything is tailored to fit the kids needs and hearing disabilities.
Enaya is one of these kids. She has been with us since 2011. Now she has completed the fourth year of primary school!
She could finish this path thanks to your help, and she did great: now she can communicate with clearness and confidence, she can use her hearing aids and she is always so excited about the Center’s activities. She particularly loved the manual and artistic workshop, engaging in gigs with paper, cards and colours.
Thanks to you and your generosity, Enaya could complete her primary school cycle, could learn how to communicate, and in general live a more decent and peaceful life! She is just one of the many kids you can help by supporting this project. You can do it here.
