The quality of education provided by rural schools in areas was not good to the mark and this is the reason why RSKS India opened Pathshala: A Value based education school at different rural areas. However due to rural background the Teachers lacked adequate training and resources to teach effectively. Students were not able to grasp the concepts taught in class due to a lack of practical learning experiences.
In this context, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India) organized a teacher training program for teachers of Pathshala schools to improve the quality of education. The training was aimed at equipping teachers with the necessary skills and resources to teach effectively. During the training, the teachers were introduced to teacher learning materials (TLM) and were taught how to make working and non-working models for better explanation of concepts. They were also taught how to engage with students in a better way to create a conducive learning environment.
The teacher training program organized by RSKS India had a significant impact on the quality of education provided by Pathshala schools. Teachers gained the necessary skills and knowledge to teach effectively and create a better learning environment for their students. The use of TLMs and working and non-working models made learning more interactive and engaging, which led to a better understanding of the concepts taught in class by the students. The teachers were now better equipped to meet the needs of their students, and this led to an improvement in their academic performance. The food packets given to the teachers at the end of the training program also served as a token of appreciation, which motivated them to continue to work with dedication and enthusiasm.
