Warm Greetings from RSKS India....

For two inspiring weeks, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan became a vibrant learning ground where twelve young girl from RK Patni Girls College embarked on a journey far beyond academic boundaries. What started as a short internship evolved into a deeply emotional and eye-opening experience. As they stepped into underserved communities, they encountered untold stories of hardship, courage, and silent resilience. Each conversation became a moment of connection, where the interns not only listened but also raised awareness on critical issues such as gender equality, education, and dignity planting seeds of change within the communities they engaged with.

Under the close guidance of the RSKS team, the internship was carefully structured to blend learning with action. The interns actively participated in grassroots initiatives, community visits, and awareness drives, while also gaining practical exposure to documentation, reporting systems, and program planning. Daily mentoring sessions and reflective discussions helped them understand the deeper impact of development work, transforming their perspectives and strengthening their sense of responsibility. This systematic approach ensured that every day contributed to both their personal growth and the organization’s mission.

As the program concluded, the transformation was evident. These young girl returned not only with new skills but with awakened empathy, confidence, and a commitment to social change. This initiative stands as a powerful reminder to donors and supporters that investing in youth creates ripples of long-term impact. By nurturing their potential, we are shaping future leaders who will continue to advocate for equality and justice in society.

Warm Greetings from RSKS India....

RSKS India carried out the impactful “My Childhood – My Rights” Campaign across 25 rural schools, engaging more than 1,100 children. The initiative focused on nurturing awareness, building confidence, and inspiring children to stand up for their rights and the rights of their peers.

Through engaging and child-friendly sessions, participants explored the realities and consequences of child marriage, gaining a deeper understanding of how it affects individuals and communities. Creative activities such as poster-making competitions provided a platform for children to express their ideas and emotions, turning learning into meaningful action. Selected participants were appreciated to motivate wider involvement.

To strengthen community commitment, a pledge campaign brought together students, teachers, and local residents, all uniting in a shared promise to prevent child marriage. The campaign culminated in vibrant village rallies led by children, who confidently voiced their message and encouraged families to rethink harmful practices.

One teacher shared, “I have seen a remarkable change in my students. They are more aware, more confident, and are beginning to question practices like child marriage with courage and clarity.”

The initiative has fostered a strong sense of awareness and responsibility among children, empowering them to become agents of change within their communities. The positive response from schools and families reflects a growing shift towards protecting childhood and promoting education.
