At Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India), social protection extends beyond the communities we serve. Alongside supporting hundreds of thousands of women, adolescent girls and children, we are equally committed to the dignity, safety and well-being of every team member.
This commitment is strengthened by the trust and generosity of our donors and partners.
Devi (Name Changed) served with RSKS India for nearly nine years, implementing grassroots development programmes with dedication and compassion. In 2024, she became seriously ill with a kidney-related condition, and RSKS continued to stand by her during her treatment and hardship.
In 2025, her husband, a daily-wage street vendor, was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away towards the end of the year. Already weakened by illness and grief, Devi also passed away in February 2026.
Their young son, Raunak (Name Changed), was left without both parents and with serious financial responsibilities. As a daily-wage worker, he faced an uncertain future.
Under RSKS India’s staff social protection initiative, Raunak received a bank cheque of 500,000 as the life insurance benefit secured for his late mother. This meaningful support was possible because of the continued encouragement, trust and generous support of donors like you.
No amount can replace the love and presence of his parents. Yet this assistance gave Raunak financial security, dignity and hope at a deeply difficult time.
In July 2026, Raunak began a new chapter of life through a simple marriage ceremony. The insurance amount will help him establish his household, meet essential needs and build a more stable future.
At RSKS India, our staff members are not merely employees; they are part of our family. Devi’s story reminds us that those who serve vulnerable communities may also need protection, compassion and solidarity.
Because of your generosity, a grieving son received more than financial assistance he received the strength to move forward and the reassurance that he was not alone.
On behalf of Raunak and the entire RSKS family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors and partners for helping us protect dignity, honour service and create hope beyond programmes.
