We are part of the transparent and credible non profit organization, RSKS INDIA. We at RSKS India deliver our best to improvise the condition the marginalized and deprived communities and all the RSKS India team members are committed towards impact. From time to time we see the impact stories from ground through our feedback forms. One of these wonderful Beneficiary's story is shared with you through this report.

A Story of Reema......!!

My name is Reema (Name Changed) and I am 13 years old. I live with my mother, father and 2 sisters and a brother. I study in a government school at a remote village. My father goes out for cattle grazing for others and my mother is a housewife. Our family’s economic condition is not very well and I could say this as there are many times when me and my sisters have to face problems like lack of education materials, lack of school dress, torn shoes etc but then what we do is we share each other’s materials in order to go to school. Still always there are many things which we want to go to school but we don’t have and due to this me and sisters always takes leave from the school as we do not want to get scolded because of this and we feel shy about this. When we speak about all this to my parents then they always tell me that their earning is sufficient only to bear the household expenses and not more than that.

One day there were some people from Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan who visited to our school and asked my teachers about the girls who are intelligent but are having problem in their education stuff due to poor condition of the family. My teacher knew my problems so she gave my name and then the team member from RSKS India came to me and asked me about my name and then visited my house after the school. After a month, the whole RSKS India team came to my school and provided me all the education stuff which I needed like school bag, registers, geometry box, drawing book etc and along with this they also gave me a hygiene kit which contained the sanitary napkin, handkerchief, soap etc. After this they also told me how to use the sanitary napkin and after few days they came back again at my home to take the feedback of the whole program from my parents and from me. After few week they called me again to ask my educational needs and how my education is going.

I am very blessed as RSKS India chose me to support under their Education For Every Girl program as through this I was able to study diligently and without any problem. I had my educational stuff needs fulfilled through this program and also the hygiene kit helped me and my sisters throughout the pandemic. Now I am going regularly at my school and my focus is on my studies as I want to get pass my class from 1st division. The people belonging from RSKS India made my parents wonder that how could anyone take feedback of us for months even after the program was done, but I know this was to make the program better in future and along with this it will also give them information about me. Me and my family thank RSKS India and Donors from bottom of our heart for organizing this wonderful program at my school.

Scholarship Support to Rural Girls !!

There are many school going rural marginalized girls who lost their parents during covid-19 or even before that. These girls have to face many problems during their education and one of the most prominent one is the school fees of these girls as who will bear the school fees of these children ? Girls are even considered as a burden on the family and also they marriage has also be done which also take money so due to these reasons they even do not get a chance to pass their schools. Lack of educational awareness among the rural society is the biggest reason for this but this should not hinder the education of the girl children.

To support the intelligent rural marginalized girls in their education, RSKS India team went to schools and had a list of the girls who are intelligent and have lost their parents in covid-19 or before and went to door to door survey so that the real condition could be found out and then 35 intelligent as well as rural marginalized girls who had lost their parents or were belonging from economically poor background family were selected. RSKS India provided the school fees of these girl children so that they could continue their education without any problem and would be able to have a better future. RSKS India team members also told these girls to always have faith in themselves and study diligently to become successful and change their future.

These girls are now coming regularly at school and are focusing on their education and this was the result why these girls scored excellent marks in their examination. The movement of change in mentality was done through this program as when RSKS India gave the fees of these children then the school administration also did their part to contribute in the school fees of these children through a waive off. The care person of these children also got very happy as their children got their school fees paid due to their excellent performance at school and got motivation to educate girl child. These girls would become successful in future and would contribute their part in future to create a well developed and educated society. These children along with their care takers, school staff thanked RSKS India & Donors for this wonderful support.
