Every child has equal right to be educated whether it belongs to any caste or section of the society. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organizes several programs for the educational development of children that have many significant results. And this is all about a little girl Laxmi. Laxmi belongs to a dalit family resides at Silora, a distand village 80 km far from the city. Laxmi has been intelligent in study since her childhood, but she had to remain away from education for some time due to the financial conditions of her family.

When Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan came to know about Laxmi, our activists went to her place and tried to convice her family to start sending her school again. Due to the lack of funds the parents of Laxmi directly refused to do so initialy, but when Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan promised them to bear the expense of her study, then they agreed to send her school.

It was the support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors which got us the solution of this problem. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of the donors got Laxmi registered in a nearby school and got her study material along with the school uniform, shoes, socks, etc. absolutely free. Then, Laxmi started studying hard and it was her determination and diligence which got her first position in 8th standard with ''A Grade'' in the entire block. Thus, Laxmi made her family, the community as well as the village proud. Laxmi was awarded by a Educational Mobile tablet for getting first position in the block. The difficult task was also acomplished with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors for which Laxmi's family and she thanked to GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors. In future, Laxmi has dream to be a doctor and help the poor absolutely free.
