Education is a tool which enables us to win the future. It plays a major role in everyone's life. It is education through which little ones learn the lesson of morality which brings positive change in the life of a human being. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with this basic mantra, has been working for educational development.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, operates "Pathshala" in FIVE distant villages. In "Pathshala", school free education is provided to girls child where they attend classes for four hours everyday. Similarly, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan also operates "Udaan" in the ideal village Bhanwta for the educational development of illiterate women. In "Udaan", there are 18 women who are getting middle level edcuation in which they learn to write & read words, and to add & subtract. Now, these women have learned to read and write and able to make calculations in daily routine transactions.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan has organized sports competition in all "Pathshala" and "Udan" schools and students participated ardently. The students of "Pathshala" played several knowledgeable and entertaining games as chair race, ludo, kho-kho, snake-ladder, carom, badminton, etc. which will make them strong physically as wells mentally. Similarly, games competition was also organzied for women students of "Udan" and they also played chair race, spoon race, carom, etc. The best participant among all was awarded to encourage them. Sports and Games Competitions enabled us to reduce mental stress of women and children also increased their interest towards study.
The story of a little Effort........
Reetu, the teacher of "Pathshala" operated in ideal village Bhanwta by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan told that children were so dull in study when they joined "Pathshala" even they didn't know to read and write. But, due to hard work children became intelligent and now they are able to read English and recite tables very easily. Reading English fluently has increased the confidence of the girls and these girls participate in all sort of activities.
Meera, the teacher of another "Pathshala" managed by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan comes to teach students from 3 km away daily. She faces problems as the "Pathshala" is too far from her residence. The organization gave her a bicycle free through which she is now able to come "Pathshala" easily. Riding bicycle saves time for her to reach "Pathshala" and she gave extra time to the students so that they may learn and practise more.
