______
An Impact Story;- Asha is a 16 years old girl who comes from deprived community and lives nomadic life in the slums of the outskirts of the city. She lives with her parents and 3 sisters and 2 brothers in the family. Her father is a blacksmith and he is the only person who earns for the family. The family usually faces economic problems as they have limited sources of income. Asha also helps her family to sell the Iron sieve made by her father.
Asha and her sisters are intelligent in study, but due to financial problems they have to leave study and they sell the tools made by his father. Asha used to get disappointed on seeing other girls going to school and she had lost the hope.
One day, Asha met with one the activists of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and told him her story and interest in study. The activist of RSKS take the matter seriously and he called her parents in the organization's office immediately. In the organization's office, we had discusstion with Asha's parents and made them understand to send her school again.
After getting the permission from Asha's parents, RSKS brought Asha to the main stream of education. RSKS, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, got Asha registered in 10 standard and gave her study material & education Fees.
Asha couldn't believe and she felt that is was all just a dream. She knew very well the importance of the opportunity she had got and she utilized the opportunity. Now, she is studying hard to make her dream true to be a teacher to teach other poor girls like her. Asha thanks Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation from the bottom of the heart.
An Impact Story;- Sushila who resides at ideal village Moyna, is a 46 years old housewife. Old typical community doesn't give importance to girl education, due to which Sushila deprived of study. Education was nothing in Sushila's life. She had a dream to be educated since childhood but she was restricted in home after got married.
Afterwards, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan started "Udan" school for the educational development of uneducated women. When Sushila came to know about "Udan", she got so happy. She got herself registered to be educated, but initially she found herself in difficulties to attend the school. First, she used to hesitate to attend school at this age, but she showed courage and started attending school. Attending school regularly made her to remember her childhood days of schools. She did hard work to get the knowledge of numbers and letters and to do her signature.
At the end of the year, she gave examination of 7th standard and got positive result of the examination. Now, her dreams got wings and she is so happy. She has plan to get succeed in the examination of 8th standard to be eligible to be a candidate of Sarpanch election for which she is working hard.
