An IMPACT !!****
"Every child has the right of education", with the mantra, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan operates several programs related to education of children. RSKS puts more efforts for the education development of girls and the organization gets significant support from GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors for the purpose. The organization conducts feedback, follow-up activities to measure the effect and the impact of its projects and programs on the community that gets us many success stories of the beneficiaries. Among all the success stories we share some of them with you in the report.
My name is Sarita (Name Changed) and I works as a teacher in "Pathshala" school managed by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan. I have been associated with RSKS for last two year. RSKS manages "Pathshala" in Ghooghra for education development of girls where poor girls are getting quality education at no cost. Among all the girls who learn in Pathshala, Reshma (Name Changed) is one who comes from deprived community. Reshma, for being a girl, suffered bad luck by leaving study as no one considers the importance of girl education in villages and Reshma had to deprive from study. Her father got died in an accident and her family had to face severe problems after then. Reshma started grazing cattles to earn so that she could help to run the family. She used to see other girls going to school and wished the same for herself. She was intelligent in study, but the unfavourable conditions didn't allow her to go to school.
One day I met with Reshma and she informed me about her familiy's pathetic financial conditions and her interest in study. Then, I told her about RSKS's Pathshala where poor girls get free education. After listening to me, she got so happy and she got permission to go to Pathshala. Her mother allowed her to go to school so that she could learn and make her dreams true. Then, Reshma joined Pathshala. I often got astonished with her interest and passion for study. She has got incredible learning capacity that held her to get first in Pathshala. Meanwhile, Reshma brought to the main stream of education by RSKS and registered her in 4th standard in a nearby govt. school. RSKS, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, gave free school uniform, bag, study material to Reshma. Reshma started preparing for half-yearly examinations and her results reflected her hard work.
Reshma got third position among all 62 students in the class. She proved her confidence and capability by getting thrid place in the class. And, in return she got appreciation, blessings and gifts that encouraged her. Now, Reshma is preparing for annual examinations and she promised to get first place in the examinations. She has a dream to be a lecturer in future and to teach poor girls like her free.
RSKS follows-up Reshma and provides necessary guidance to her. Now, Reshma's mother is so happy to see her going to school and thanks RSKS and the donors from the bottom of the heart.
