We Have Been Getting your Valuable Generous Donation & Great Support over the year through GlobalGiving and we are Thankful to you from the Core of our Heart.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan puts efforts significantly for the educational development of girls child. RSKS, with the partnership of honourable organization GlobalGiving Foundation, runs "Pathshala - a school" in 7 distinct remote villages. Girls study in Pathshala come from distinct family background and classes of the society. Despite of coming from different religion and castes, the girls are united and study al together in Pathshala. Different ocassions and festivals are also celberated in Pathshala at times in whcih all the girls participate happily.
Like every year, we had a grand celebration of Christmas this year. All girls decorated Pathshala and made Christmas tree. The Team RSKS and Pathshala teachers cut the cake with girls and wished "Mery Christmas" each other. The girls also organized cultural program in whcih they performed on traditional songs and recited poems. We awarded the girls as per their performances to encourage them. At the completion of the cultural program, chocholates and sweets were given to all the girls that they enjoyed a lot.
RSKS is committed to educational development of girls under whcih we distributed woollen school sweaters to poor and deprived rural school girls with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation. We gave sweaters to more than 150 such girls to keep them safe from cold as most of the girls were not financially strong to buy sweaters. When RSKS gave them sweaters all the girls got so happy. The school administration thanked the donors, GlobalGiving Foundation and the Team RSKS and appreciated the efforts we made.
We are glad to inform you that girl education is getting strengthen by the continuous efforts made by RSKS. When RSKS gave free sweaters to poor and deprived rural school girls, we enquired about their response and reaction and came to know the same that is mentioned below in their own words.
Beneficiary views:- My name is Anchal (Name changed) and I study in 8th standard. I live with my parents and 3 sisters. As my father is the only person who earns for the family of 6 members we often have to face financial problems and due to the financial incapability of my family I had to leave my study two years ago.
My teacher supported me a lot after which I rejoined the school. But, now I didn't have sweater in winter season and I go to school in school uniform only. Today, I have got a warm sweater from GlobalGiving Foundation and RSKS that makes me to feel comfortable in winters. I want to thank RSKS and GlobalGiving Foundation for their efforts by which I am able to go to school regularly in winter season.
