Education for Every Girl in India

Education is the right of every girl. But, girls are not getting educated equally in the society. Teaching according to the course contents is an easy way to get girls educated. It is still seen that girls don't have right to be educated in rural areas. Some of them are not able to go to school in the lack of study material and they have to face discrimination. There are many families in the society that don't promote girls to be educated, also the pathetic financial conditions of the families don't allow some girls to go to school.

In order to promote girl education, Rajashtan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan conducted a survey in 15 distinct villages and adopted 24 girls who were not going to the school in the lack of study material and were deprived to be educated. RSKS distributed study material to the adopted 24 girls so that they may have quality education. The study material includes clothes, sweater, shoes, socks, water bottles, school bag, notebooks, registers, pen, geometry box, etc. The beneficiaries were glad to have the study material. The Team RSKS distributed the study material in all 15 villages where the survey was conducted.

The girls who were not being able to attend the classes in the lack of study material, now becoming educated like others. The smile on their faces explain their happiness. Now, they go to school and attend classes regularly.

One of the activists of the Team RSKS met with 14 years old Tannu. She is a student in 8th standard. The financial condition of her family is pathetic. Labour is the only source of earning for the family. Tannu was not able to attend the school due to their worst financial conditions and that made her to face discrimination in the school and the embarassment made her to stop going school. But, now after getting the study material she continued her study and started going school regularly.
