Art & Craft with Science Models !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.....
RSKS INDIA is always determined for the education of the poor and under privileged girls. RSKS INDIA always does all the possible work to get them a proper education and for this they have a PAATHSHALA program in 4 different marginalized villages in which 125 poor and under privileged girls who were school dropouts are getting education. Because of PAATHSHALA all the poor and under privileged girls are getting linked with the mainstream education. In this school, other activities are also done to improve the mental and physical growth of these girls. Only bookish knowledge is not given in these schools.
In this chain of education, an art and craft and also a science model camp was organized by RSKS INDIA. All the girls participated with keen interest in this one month camp. All the teachers of these 4 PAATHSHALA taught their students about the paintings, best out of waste, decorative items making, through art and craft activity and taught them about the science model like wind power generation, power house, ATM, village model etc. All the girls filled colours in the models with excitement. The excitement was seen on the face of these girls as they were busy in making the models and also doing art and craft activities.
To encourage these girls a fair was conducted in which parents, school staff, village official were called so that they can also see the beautiful work done by these girls. All the people who visited in this fair was very happy seeing the work done by these girls and appraised them for their work. After the fair all the materials which these girls made were decorated in the PAATHSHALA so that it can have a new beautiful look.
The teachers of PAATHSHALA said that this type of art and craft knowledge is also necessary for a student. Only giving bookish knowledge is not good. This type of programs increases the mental strength of these girls and also creates interest in them for coming to school. Now all these girl children are busy in studying but with a positive interest. All the teachers thanked RSKS INDIA and GG for this beautiful work.
